Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in festive prayer on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr

On June 4, in the Galeev mosque, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a festive prayer on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.

Mufti of Tatarstan Kamil khazrat Samigullin preached a ceremonial sermon and read congratulatory telegrams from Russian President Vladimir Putin and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov

Russian President emphasized that Eid al-Fitr turns believers to the high spiritual and moral values of Islam, to the traditions and customs of their ancestors, encourages for goodness and mercy and care for those who need help and support.

Then a festive prayer was held.

Chief of Staff of Tatarstan President’s Administration Asgat Safarov, Minister of Youth Affairs of the republic Damir Fattakhov, Tatarstan Minister of Economy Farid Abdulganiev and Mayor of Kazan Ilsur Metshin also visited the Galeev mosque.
