Rustam Minnikhanov visits the expo area at the World Circular Economy Forum

On June 3, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited a specialized exhibition at the World Circular Economy Forum (WCEF2019).

Companies, organizations and enterprises representing circular economy solutions are taking part in the forum, which is held in Helsinki (Finlandia Hall Congress Center). 

Together with Acting Finnish Minister of Economic Affairs Mika Lintila Minnikhanov looked around the forum's expo area. Representatives of the companies participating in the forum told them briefly about the most interesting and innovative projects.

For example, Betolar Company presented the technology to turn different waste streams from energy, mining and forestry industries in environmentally friendly geopolymer concrete.

Acting Minister of Economic Affairs of Finland noted that for the country the circular economy is a tool for achieving sustainable development, combating climate change, preserving natural resources and improving the state of the environment.

On the sidelines of the forum, Minnikhanov also met Acting Minister of the Environment, Energy and Housing of Finland Kimmo Tiilikainen.

Then, Minnikhanov took part in the opening ceremony of the World Circular Economy Forum.
