Rustam Minnikhanov awards winners of two-month cleaning and environmental campaign of 2019

On June 1, speaking at the Government House of the republic at a regional video-conference held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the republic Aleksandr Shadrikov reported on the results of two-month cleaning and environmental campaign of Tatarstan settlements.

Shadrikov emphasized that the Best Municipality Contest further confirmed to be an efficient mechanism for eliminating waste and activating the work of city districts and regions.

Tatarstan President handed in certificates and awards to the winners of two-month cleaning and environmental campaign – 2019.

Kazan ranked first and Naberezhnye Chelny second in Best city district nomination.

In the nomination “The best municipal region with the centre - the status of the city” the Almetyevsk region ranked first, the Nizhnekamsk region was the second and the Zainsk region ranked third.
