Not far from Saltyganovo village in the Kaibitsky region harvest campaign is going on a full scale. Chiefs of agricultural enterprises, settlements and farmers gathered here today’s morning. Farid Mukhametshin and Marat Akhmetov spoke to them after seeing farmlands.

According to the State Council Chairman, agrarians have done their utmost to enjoy fair yield. However, hot weather we had at the beginning of summer made some changes.

Head of the Ministry of agriculture and foodstuff told about latest harvesting data. For the evening of July, 31, first million tons of grain has been milled in republic. The whole yield of grain has made 1 mln 63 thousand tons from the beginning of the harvest campaign. Republican agrarians have achieved maximum productivity. 516,5 thousand hectares of area have been thrashed from the beginning of the campaign.

Head of the Kaibitsky region Albert Rakhmatullin assured chief of the parliament and Minister of agriculture and foodstuff that harvesting would be completed in the region by August 15-20.
Marat Akhmetov focused on urgent problems of the agricultural sector. He reminded that large agricultural firms offer much higher salaries than small farms. Such underpayment will surely cause staff outflow.

The ministry’s head supposes that much emphasis must be put on training skilled specialists.

Farid Mukhametshin noted that information about harvesting campaign must be reported in local press.

“Republican authorities still pay much attention to development of private subsidiary farming,” the State Council Chairman said.

Farid Mukhametshin and Marat Akhmetov have also visited Apastovsky and Kamsko-Ustinsky regions today.
