Rustam Minnikhanov: We are open for cooperation and ready for further development of our ties as part of relations between Russia and China

On May 22, at the Kazan Kremlin, at his meeting with Member of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yang, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the trade turnover between Tatarstan and China increased by more than 10 per cent to make 630 mln US dollars in 2018.

Welcoming members of the Chinese delegation, who are on a working visit in the republic, Minnikhanov noted that he was pleased to meet before holding a meeting of the Council for interregional cooperation between Russia and China in the Volga-Yangtze format in Cheboksary.

Minnikhanov also thanked the leadership of Russia and China for creating favorable conditions for the development of interregional contacts as part of dynamically developing relations between Russia and China.

“We are open for cooperation and are ready for further development of our ties as part of relations between Russia and China,” Minnikhanov emphasized.
