Tatarstan Prime Minister and Member of State Council of the People’s Republic of China Wang Yang

On May 22, during his working visit to Tatarstan, Member of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Wang Yang together with Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin visited the Kazan Helicopter Plant.

Wang Yang looked around production facilities of the plant. In particular, he visited assembly and paint workshops, was shown a model range of helicopters produced at the plant. Representatives of the plant told him about technical and functional capabilities of produced rotary-wing aircrafts, and also informed him about the modernization of the enterprise.

Then, he was shown a video of a demonstration fight of the Ansat helicopter in the countries of South-East Asia, which took place after the participation of the Kazan Helicopter Plant at the International Airshow in Zhuhai (China). The Ansat was introduced to potential customers in Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Malaysia. In total, more than 1,000 guests representing state and commercial operators in the region attended the flight shows.
