Rustam Minnikhanov meets representatives of WorldSkills International Organization and Samsung Electronics Company

On May 20, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with senior managers of WorldSkills International Organization and representatives of Samsung Electronics Company.

Minnikhanov thanked President of WorldSkills Simon Bartley and Vice President, Head of Samsung Electronics global technology centre, Secretary General of Samsung Skills subdivision Dong-Seob Jang for their participation in the 7th National Competition “Young Professionals”  (WorldSkills Russia), being held these days, on May 20-24, 2019 in Kazan.

According to Minnikhanov, the final competitions of the Young Professionals will become a dress rehearsal for the WorldSkills Competition, which starts in Kazan on August 22, 2019.

We are grateful to WorldSkills International for the great work during the preparation for the WorldSkills Competition, Minnikhanov said.

Bartley said that World Skills Competition, which is to be held for the first time in Russia, WorldSkills Competition is expected to bring together a record number of participants and guests.

At the end of the meeting, Bartley and Jang signed a partnership agreement between WorldSkills Intrernational and Samsung Electronics.
