On May 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the republic held by Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin on results of the activity and prospects for development of regional multi-purpose centres.
Opening the meeting, Pesoshin noted that a regional network of multi-purpose centres is one of the largest in the country at the moment.
Making a keynote report at the meeting, Director of Multi-purpose сentre for provision of state and municipal services in Tatarstan Lenara Muzafarova said that the network of multi-purpose centres of Tatarstan has grown considerably in four years. Currently, there are 55 My Documents offices in all urban districts and municipal regions of the republic. They include 47 branches, 7 departments and 1 additional office in Kazan.
According to Muzafarova, training of employees is one of the major tasks. Each staff member of a multi-purpose centre should be a universal specialist and be able to accept any of 175 services. Therefore, the training process is continuous.
Summing up the meeting, Minnikhanov stressed that people’s attitude towards the government very often depends on the efficiency of work of multi-purpose centres. “The development of multi-purpose centres is our common task. All our departments, federal institutions, and information systems are involved in this work,” he noted.
