As many as 1481 people to receive cash payments on Victory Day in Tatarstan

On April 30, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection Elmira Zaripova said that as many as 1,481 people will receive a new annual cash payment, provided for certain categories of citizens on Victory Day.

Zaripova said that on April 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree № 186 “On the annual cash payment to certain categories of citizens on the Victory Day”. “According to this decree, paying tribute of deep respect to the veterans of the World War II, a new payment has been introduced since 2019. It concerns directly war veterans, guerrilla and anti-fascist movements, ” the Minister noted.

According to her, the funds will be paid not only to those who live in Russia, but also in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.
