Over 38,600 the World War II veterans live in Tatarstan

On April 30, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Minister of Labour, Employment and Social Protection Elmira Zaripova said that as of April 17, as many as 38,642 World War II veterans live in Tatarstan.

There are 390 disabled and 834 participants of the war among the veterans of the WWII living in Tatarstan.

As of May 1, 2015, as many as 76,839 veterans of the WWII lived in the republic.
