Over 500 volunteers to help participants of the Immortal Regiment march in Kazan

On April 30, speaking at a briefing in the Government House of the republic, Head of the Culture Department of Kazan Azat Abzalov said that as many as 500 volunteers will be involved in the annual Immortal Regiment march in Kazan.

According to Abzalov, the march will start from Karl Marx Street. “There we will form a column of people wishing to take part in this action, starting from Karl Marx Street near the Kazan State Agricultural University. We invite everyone to enter the entrance gate,” he noted.

The participants will begin gathering at 1 p.m. and the march will start at 3 p.m., the speaker emphasized. The route of the Immortal Regiment will pass along Karl Marx Street, along Lobachevsky Street and along Kremlevskaya Street towards the Millennium Square where a small concert programme will be organized at this time,” he informed.
