Tatarstan President arrives on a working visit in Turkmenistan

On April 27, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, who arrived on a working visit in Turkmenistan, was met by Adviser to the President of Turkmenistan Yagshigeldi Kakayev and chargé d'affaires ad interim Russian Federation in Turkmenistan Sergei Nasinovsky at the Ashgabat International Airport.

A delegation of the republic includes Deputy Prime Minister of the republic, Chairman of the National Council of the World Tatar Congress Vasil Shaykhraziev, Director General of Tatneft Oil Company Nail Maganov, Director General of KAMAZ Automaker Sergey Kogogin and other officials.

Later on the same day, Minnikhanov plans to meet representatives of the Tatars living in Turkmenistan. The next day, at the invitation of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Minnikhanov will take part in the national holiday, the Day of the Akhal-Teke Horse, as part of which exhibitions of achievements of the national economy and applied arts of Turkmenistan will be held.
