Rustam Minnikhanov visits SberTalk discussion venue on the sidelines of KazanSummit

On April 25, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, on the sidelines of the 11th International Economic Summit “Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit-2019”, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the SberTalk discussion, organized by Sberbank. He noted that Sberbank attaches great importance to Islamic financing instruments. “Today we have the opportunity to discuss these issues in more detail and consider how this system is developing in our country. Tatarstan will always support this initiative,” Tatarstan President added.

During the SberTalk event, participants discussed the current development of Islamic finance in Russia, the development of the halal sector and also got acquainted with the prospects of the new PayZakat Islamic fintech project, a digital payment system to collect donations.
