Rustam Minnikhanov meets Secretary-General of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation

On April 24, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Secretary General of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation Dato' Ku Jaafar Ku Shaari.

Established in 1997, the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation includes Turkey, Iran, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Malaysia, Indonesia, Egypt and Nigeria. Its main task is to develop cooperation between member states and to strengthen economic and social ties.

The meeting considered topical issues of cooperation, in particular, interaction in the field of Islamic banking and investment activities.
