On April 22, at the Russian State Council, during his working visit to Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a meeting of the Russian State Council working group, which he is the head of, on developing the housing market and creating a comfortable urban environment. Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities of the Russian Federation Vladimir Yakushev took part in the meeting.

The meeting focused on the pricing of building materials used in the implementation of national projects and a comprehensive plan for the modernization of infrastructure.

Opening the meeting, Minnikhanov noted that effective implementation of national projects directly depends on pricing mechanisms. He reminded that this matter was already discussed at a meeting with Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev on the 12th of April this year.

Minnikhanov stressed that the construction industry should be profitable, but at the same time it is necessary to legislate pricing rules in the industry.

The meeting touched upon issues of regulation of prices for building materials, ensuring a competitive environment in the market of construction resources and other topical issues.
