Rustam Minnikhanov arrives in Ufa on the occasion of the Days of the Republic of Tatarstan in Bashkortostan

On April 17, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived in Ufa to take part in events on the occasion of the Days of the Republic of Tatarstan in Bashkortostan as part of the 100th anniversary of the Bashkir Autonomous Soviet Socialist Republic.

Today, Tatarstan plans to meet representatives of Tatar public organizations of Bashkortostan, to get acquainted with the cultural and educational exhibition project “The Bridge of Friendship” and to attend a concert of masters of the arts of Tatarstan. Minnikhanov will also attend an opening ceremony of a friendly match between Salavat Yulaev and SC Uritskogo hockey veterans.

Tomorrow, on the 18th of April, Minnikhanov will meet Acting Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan Radiy Khabirov. It is expected that an agreement on cooperation between the two regions will be signed during the meeting.

Moreover, during his visit to Ufa, Tatarstan President will speak at the opening of the Tatarstan-Bashkortostan business forum and will visit the Ufa State Oil Technical University. Then, Minnikhanov plans to meet Chairman of the Central Spiritual Board of Muslims of Russia Talgat Tajuddin in the First Cathedral Mosque of Ufa.

Tatarstan President will also take part in a ceremony of unveiling a monument to the great Tatar poet Gabdulla Tukay.
