On April 16, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met a delegation of the South Korean SK Engineering & Construction Company.
SK Engineering & Construction is a subdivision of SK Group, one of the leading industrial holdings in South Korea. SK Engineering & Construction offers comprehensive services for the design and construction of refineries, petrochemical enterprises, power engineering (power plants, LNG projects), civil and transport infrastructure.
“We have experience in working with companies from South Korea with a wide range of areas, including the purchase of vehicles, cooperation through Kazan Helicopter Plant, cooperation in the field of medicine and education. Metalworking centres of South Korean companies are in demand among machine-building enterprises of Tatarstan,” Minnikhanov emphasized.
He continued that some South Korean companies have their production facilities in the republic. For example, Apollo opened a plant for the production of valves for the oil and gas sector in Tatarstan.
SK Engineering & Construction is one of the largest engineering and construction companies in South Korea, Minnikhanov noted. In particular, the republic is interested in the experience of SK in the field of construction of plants for the liquefaction of natural gas.
Then, representatives of SK Engineering & Construction briefly described the company's activities and voiced possible areas of cooperation with Tatarstan enterprises.
