Aleksey Pesoshin holds a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the Russia-Islamic World: KazanSummit-2019

On April 15, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin held a meeting of the organizing committee for the preparation and holding of the International Economic Summit "Russia - Islamic World: KazanSummit - 2019" to be held at the Kazan Expo international exhibition center on April 24-26.

In his opening speech, Pesoshin noted that more than 3,000 people from 57 countries and 29 regions of Russia are expected to participate in the KazanSummit this year. "Russia - Islamic world: from prospects to practical implementation"  will be the key topic of the upcoming event. 

Head of Tatarstan Investment Development Agency Taliya Minullina informed the meeting about the  progress made in the preparation for the summit. She said that over 1600 delegates, mostly from foreign countries, have already registered.

The business program of the summit includes 50 thematic sessions. For the first time, the All-Russian Forum of Industrial Parks PARKI, the Kazan International Festival of Muslim Cinema, the Trade and Economic Mission of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Russian-Indonesian Business Forum and a number of other events will be held during the KazanSummit.

An international exhibition of the Halal industry, Russia Halal Expo, will be organized at the summit for the third time. As many as 54 exhibitors will showcase halal products and services. It is expected that about 5,000 people will visit the exhibition.
