Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the opening ceremony of Tatarstan International Forum on Energy Efficiency “TEF – 2019”

On April 10, speaking at an opening ceremony of Tatarstan International Forum on Energy Efficiency “TEF – 2019” held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that resource saving is an important part of competitiveness in the modern world.

During the Forum, the 20th International Exhibition “Energy. Resource Saving” and the 19th International Symposium Energy- Resource Efficiency. Energy Saving will be held during the Forum.

According to experts, TEF - 2019 is the largest project on energy, energy efficiency and resource saving in the Volga Federal District.

As many as 8,800 people visited the exhibition in 2018, including 47 per cent of them were industry specialists, 20.3 per cent were chief energy specialists, chief engineers, heads of departments and 4.9 per cent were senior managers.

The main market players, namely manufacturers and suppliers, exhibiting modern and reliable products used in the energy and petrochemical industry, take part in the energy exhibition every year.

The exhibition helps to find reliable business partners, namely suppliers of equipment, materials and technical solutions for industrial enterprises. It is also an opportunity to learn about new products in the industry, to assess the situation on the market and to exchange experience and ideas, and also to improve skills by attending the events of the business programme of the exhibition.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minnikhanov said that a total of 170 companies from more than 50 regions of Russia and other countries are taking part in the exhibition.

“Resource saving in the modern world is the key element in competitiveness and efficiency. Everything related to the energy sector is always a lot of new solutions and technologies, and it is important to be on trend. I wish our forum a fruitful work and companies find new partners, useful to each other,” Tatarstan President said.

He thanked the participants of the forum and the exhibition, and Russian Ministry of Energy and its Minister Alexander Novak personally, who always supports new ideas.
