The meeting was held at Authorized Representative office of the Republic of Tatarstan in Russian Federation with participation of RT plenipotentiary in RF Ravil Akhmetshin and RT Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov.

Head of the republican parliament briefly told about past events noting that in general half-year was successfully finished. Currently preparation for World summer Universiade 2013 is under way.

“Sabantui holiday has been celebrated throughout Russia. On June 30 it was held in Vladivostok and Moscow. We express special gratitude to representatives of Nizhnekamsk and Naberezhnye Chelny towns who introduced our republic,” State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin said.

He congratulated new deputy of the lower chamber Timur Akulov who took the position of Oleg Morozov in connection with his transfer to the post of Head of the Department of internal policy at the Presidential Administration of Russia.

One of the main issues discussed at the meeting was election of new coordinator of the deputy group. Farid Mukhametshin offered the candidacy of Rishat Abubakirov. Attendees unanimously supported the candidate.

RT Minister of economy Midkhat Shagiakhmetov told about work conducted by working groups, first of all about participation of republic in federal programs and projects.
