On April 5, speaking at the opening ceremony of a meeting of the Presidium of Judges’ Council of Russia, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that the revival of the offsite meetings helps the regions to be involved in the establishment of new mechanisms of the judicial system.
Opening the meeting, Minnikhanov said that today Kazan is one of the leading economic, cultural and sports centres of the country. The city hosted the largest world events starting from the Summer Universiade in 2013 to the World Cup matches. Today, the capital of the republic has become a place of work for the Presidium of the Council of Judges of Russia.
He added that the issues on agenda are inseparably linked to the everyday work of the courts. The efficiency of the judicial system and the administration of justice at the proper level depend on the fulfillment of these tasks.
At the end of his speech, Minnikhanov wished the meeting participants fruitful work and the success in holding of the first team chess championship among the courts of the Russian Federation.
