The old and ever-young holiday Sabantui has been celebrated on the Moscow land. Again the holiday of plough was organized in a beautiful place of the Russian capital - state museum-reserve “Kolomenskoe”.

The official Tatarstan delegation was led by Chairman of the RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin. The delegation also comprised plenipotentiary of RT in RF Ravil Akhmetshin, Mayor of Naberezhnye Chelny Vasil Shaikhraziev, and other officials.

Welcoming guests on behalf of the Tatarstan President and multi-ethnic people of republic, Farid Mukhametshin thanked Moscow authorities for help in organization of the holiday. He also handed Letter of gratitude of the RT President to Director of cultural educational center “Patriarch's House” Ildar Khalilyulin for organization of the concert of the Yoldyzlyk children’s festival participants.

Chief of the Department of interregional cooperation, national policy and relationships with religious organizations of Moscow Yuri Artyukh welcomed guests on behalf of the Moscow Government. Further, official of the Moscow Government read out the greeting of the Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin.

“Sabantui has become one of the most colorful Moscow celebrations. Representatives of the Tatar and Bashkir nations and all people living nearby look forward to it. Lately Sabantui has become a bright city forum of interhuman communication and the essential part of the capital’s cultural life.”
