On April 3, at the Confederation of Danish Industry in Copenhagen, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Danish Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Susanne Hyldelund discussed promising areas of cooperation between Tatarstan and Denmark as part of Russian-Danish relations.

Hyldelund said that she is glad to see the delegation from Tatarstan again. She reminded that Minnikhanov visited Copenhagen five years ago.

According to her, this time the delegation is more representative, which attests to enhanced cooperation and more areas for interaction.

In his turn, Minnikhanov said that he appreciates business contacts with Danish colleagues. He expressed interest in more intensive cooperation. “We want to continue our joint projects. Many of them are underway. Moreover, it is important to find new areas for interaction," he said.

Minnikhanov said that productive meetings with representatives of the Danish Agriculture and Food Council were held in the morning. He added that Danish agro-industrial companies will pay a visit to the republic to look into its potential.

Denmark's technology in the field of agriculture is very effective, Minnikhanov continued.

He also said that at a meeting with senior managers of Danfoss company agreements were reached on further cooperation. “We want our integration to be deeper,” Minnikhanov noted.

Tatarstan President stated that today the republic is focused on intensifying contacts with the business community of Denmark and is ready to cooperate.

After the meeting, Minnikhanov and Suzanne Hyldelund took part in a Tatarstan-Denmark round-table.
