Dear friends!

World Theatre Day is not just an international professional holiday for stage masters and all theater workers, but a holiday for all of us - millions of involved spectators.

Theater is a way to the world cognition for children, a room for self-expression and discovery for young people and a source of spirituality and humanism, an opportunity to see life beyond the limits of its everyday life and routine for adults.

The current 2019 is declared the Year of Theatre in Russia. Our republic is an area with a rich theatrical history. Today there are 15 state and 3 municipal theaters in the republic, in addition, private theaters, creative laboratories and experimental theater projects are being established and successfully developed. We are gratified to note that folk and amateur theaters fulfill a social role, being the only centre of culture in small towns.

Throughout its existence, the national theater has come a long way and a solid Tatar drama appeared, today we can talk about the existence of a highly professional acting and stage director school, which has gained all the richness of native culture and the best traditions of Russian theater.
