Rustam Minnikhanov visits Airbus Helicopters Company in Marseille (France)

On March 21, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov visited Airbus Helicopters Company in Marseille (France).

The Airbus Helicopters is one of the leading helicopter manufacturers in the world, producing both civilian and military helicopters.

Minnikhanov was briefed about the establishment of the Airbus Helicopters, a branch of Airbus Company, and solutions in civil and military helicopter engineering.

It was emphasized that the company continues the policy of introduction of innovations.

During the meeting with senior managers of the Airbus Helicopters, Minnikhanov said that Tatarstan is interested in potential cooperation with the company and added that the Kazan Helicopter Plant is one of the leading helicopter-building plants in Russia and that the republic has gained great experience in helicopter engineering. Today, helicopters of the Kazan Helicopter Plant (part of the Russian Helicopters holding) are known worldwide and are successfully exported.

Minnikhanov expressed confidence that there are many areas for bilateral cooperation.
