Rustam Minnikhanov meets Turkish Ambassador to Russia Mehmet Samsar

On March 21, at their meeting at the Kazan Kremlin, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and Turkish Ambassador to Russia Mehmet Samsar, who was appointed the ambassador in December last year, discussed joint steps to strengthen trade and economic cooperation and cultural ties between Russia and Turkey at the interregional level.

Minnikhanov emphasized that today Turkey is one of the leading foreign partners of Tatarstan. A number of projects with the participation of Turkish investors have been successfully implemented in the republic, he added. Tatarstan President said that he is sure that Mehmet Samsar will make a significant contribution to the further expansion of cooperation.
