As many as 276 residents registered in the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park

On March 8, at the Government House of the republic, speaking at a meeting held by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov with participation of Prime Minister of the republic Aleksey Pesoshin, Director General of the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park reported on activities of the park.

Vlasov said that 276 residents have been registered in the park. He continued to report that the trade turnover amounted to 1.6 billion roubles and 1200 jobs were created in 2018. 

Speaking about results of financial activities of the park, he said that the profit made 16 million roubles in 2018.

Valsov added that there are office premises (1,600 square meters), storage facilities (7,000 square meters), trading rooms for 395 trading sites, vegetable processing shop (about 1,000 square meters), refrigeration equipment operating in various temperatures in the agro-industrial park.

The production facilities of resident companies include 22 processing production sites to manufacture 800 types of products, with the volume of finished products amounted to 7,500 tons.

In 2018, the vegetable processing plant processed 1,500 tonnes of vegetable crops.

Vlasov said that there are 84 cooled showcases in the park. Sales of meat in such volumes and with additional cooling have been organized in the republic for the first time.

Veterinary research of products is carried out in the agricultural park, including more than 1,500 examinations. In particular, last year  20,266 tonnes of agricultural products were examined and more than 51 tonnes were rejected.

Vlasov noted that more than 30 different delegations from regions of Russia, countries of near and far abroad visited the Kazan Agro-Industrial Park in 2018.
