On March 5, in the city of Prostějov, the Czech Republic, speaking at the ceremony of launching of a new plant of Danaflex Company with participation of Russian Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Marta Nováková, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov said that at the first stage, direct investment in the new production of flexible packaging amounted to 40 million euros.
Minnikhanov thanked leadership of Russia and the Czech Republic for their support of Tatarstan-Czech cooperation.
Speaking about the implementation of the project, Tatarstan President said that new production facility with the most modern equipment will create 180 jobs.
The Danaflex investment project is a good contribution to the expansion of Russian-Czech cooperation at the regional level, Minnikhanov said.
He also noted that the Danaflex occupies 15 per cent of the Russian market and is the leader in the production of packaging materials. Minnikhanov emphasized that the raw materials for the new production will be supplied from Tatarstan.
In his turn, Manturov also wished the plant success and new achievements. This is the fourth plant of Danaflex Company and the first plant in Europe.
