Farid Mukhametshin congratulates Almetievsk dwellers on Day of Russia and finishing of spring field works

Dwellers of Almetievsk region have celebrated two holidays today - Day of Russia and Sabantui. Chairman of the republican State Council Farid Mukhametshin was the distinguished guest of the holiday. People continue celebrating Sabantui in towns and regions of republic.

Other honorable guests at the holiday were Deputy of the RF State Duma from Tatarstan Rishat Abubakirov, Director General of JSC Tatneft, deputy of RT State Council Shafagat Takhautdinov, Minister of ecology and natural resources Artem Sidorov, deputies of the republican parliament and other officials.

Festive celebrations started from a dramatized show with songs, dances and mass choreographic performances. Sabantui is considered to be a holiday of inter-ethnic friendship and consent. Therefore, it is symbolic that Tatar and Russian national songs were heard during the holiday.

Chairman of RT State Council Farid Mukhametshin greeted participants and guests of the holiday on behalf of the republican leadership and personally. He noted that it is symbolic to celebrate Sabantui on the Day of Russia.

State Council Chairman congratulated Almetievsk dwellers and local authorities, and thanked leading republican oil company JSC Tatneft for support in realization of several social projects on south-east of republic.

Head of the Almetievsk region Mazit Salikhov told about agricultural achievements of the region. Then, Farid Mukhametshin and Mazit Salikhov handed letters of gratitude and honorable diplomas to batyrs of the spring planting.
