Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a summing up meeting of Tatarstan Ministry of Agriculture and Food

On February 13, at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a summing up meeting of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the republic on the results of work of the regional agricultural complex in 2018 and tasks for 2019.

Before the meeting, Minnikhanov, State Counsellor of the republic Mintimer Shaimiev, Deputy Prime Minister of the republic – Tatarstan Minister of Agriculture and Food Marat Akhmetov looked around the exhibition of the agro-industrial enterprises and the agricultural machinery samples. According to the Ministry, a total of 320 organizations and enterprises of Tatarstan and Russia took part in the exhibition.

Besides, at their meeting, Tatarstan President and Director General of the Avgust Company Alexander Uskov discussed the prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation. The Avgust is the largest Russian company producing and selling plant protection chemicals for agricultural production and for owners of private farms.
