Vladimir Putin and Rustam Minnikhanov launches a new facility to produce automobile gasolines at the TANECO refinery

On February 12, in Innopolis, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, who is on a working visit in the republic, and Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a ceremony to launch via videoconference a new facility to produce automobile gasolines at the TANECO refinery in Nizhnekamsk.

Minnikhanov noted that the plant will produce more than 1.1 million tonnes of automobile gasolines annually and that the project cost 19 billion roubles. “It is a modern facility that will produce high-performance fuel without any additives,” Tatarstan President said.

The Russian leader reminded that in January last year he took part in launching two facilities at TANECO. “It is a major event in the regional economy and positive results of the work for the country as a whole. We are delighted at the speed of the development of the plant. I congratulate all of you on this, and I am happy to take part in launching a new plant,” Putin said.
