Rustam Minnikhanov meets President of Transmashholding Andrei Bokarev

On February 7, at their meeting at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Transmashholding (Russia's biggest producer of rolling stock for railways and subway systems) Andrei Bokarev discussed prospects for cooperation in the field of transport.

Welcoming the guests, Minnikhanov noted that the republic intends to expand cooperation with Transmashholding.

We have established contacts in the field of product supply, Minnikhanov said. For example, about 50 regional enterprises supply about 400 million roubles of products for Transmashholding. It is important both for you and for us to increase supplies, Minnikhanov said, addressing representatives of Transmashholding. According to him, it is also important for the company to promote modern technology and equipment for the regional facilities.

In his turn, Bokarev, presenting the company's activities, emphasized that Transmashholding is the leader in the production of railway transport, as well as urban rail transport in the country.
