Rustam Minnikhanov arrives on a working visit in Zainsk municipal region

On February 6, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Zainsk municipal region to take part in the meeting of the local Council on the results of social and economic development of the region in 2018 and tasks for 2019.

Before the meeting, Minnikhanov accompanied by Head of the region Razif Karimov visited the Agro-Industrial Park in the town of Zainsk, opened in December last year. The park is opened six days a week. The customers can buy meat and dairy products, vegetables, fruits, cereals, bakery products, produced by local manufacturers and farmers from Nizhnekamsk, Mamadysh, Rybnaya Sloboda regions of the republic. 

Minnikhanov was informed that a test platform for processing agricultural products has been launched here. The capacity of the meat workshop is 2.5 tonnes per day, the vegetable one is 2 tonnes and the shop for packing cereals and bulk products is for 5 tonnes per day. Packed food products are sold both in Agro-Industrial Park and through retail chains.

Tatarstan President emphasized that this project is aimed at developing small and medium-sized businesses in agriculture. 

Later on the same day, he visited the Zainsk Central Regional Hospital after capital repair and talked to the senior managers of the institution.
