The revenue of Tatarstan petrochemical complex increased by a third in 2018

On January 28, speaking at the Government House of the republic, at a board meeting of Tatneftekhiminvest-holding chaired by Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov, Director General of the Holding Rafinat Yarullin said that output, profit, wages and tax payments of Tatarstan petrochemical complex increased in 2018, but some enterprises showed declining results.

Extraction and processing of oil, rubber production, rubber tires and synthetic detergents increased in the republic according to the results of the last year. The peak output of diesel fuel, kerosene, ammonium nitrate was achieved.

The total output of the key enterprises of the complex increased by 2.9 per cent in 2018. Products output amounted to 1.3 trillion roubles, which is 32 per cent higher as compared to 2017. Over 416 billion roubles of taxes were paid to the budgets of all levels, including77 billion - to the consolidated budget of the republic. The output per staff member of the complex increased by 3.4 per cent and amounted to 19 million roubles.

During the meeting, Director General of Samson Controls Company, branch of the German SAMSON, one of the largest manufacturers of valves and piping equipment, Azret Krymshamkhalov  said that the company intends to localize its full production facilities in Tatarstan.

The meeting also heard the reports on the alternative method of obtaining carbon precursor (Institute of Problems of Chemical Physics, RAS) and solutions of the Finnish Industri-Textil Job Oy Company in the area of industrial filtration.
