On January 28, at the Government House of the republic, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov chaired a regular board meeting of Tatneft Oil Company, which discussed the company’s development strategy in energy.
In the next decade, the company's power system will be centralized and will use mainly traditional sources.
At the same time, a number of alternative solutions are being implemented, in particular, power plants on associated petroleum gas, a mini hydroelectric power station, pellet boilers at fuel stations and promising projects aimed at rational use of energy resources and environmental protection have been launched.
The meeting also discussed information on the results of the work of the internal audit department for 2018. The auditors noted that it is necessary to reduce the share of monopoly purchases for the needs of tire manufacturing plants and to use the direct contracts with manufacturers.
