XXIX session of RT State Council of the 4th convocation has opened at 10 a.m at the parliament hall of sessions. The Presidium submitted 54 issues for consideration. Some of them are connected with personnel changes in the republican Government, structural changes in executive authorities, changes in composition of the Committee and Commission of the State Council.

One of the main issues to be discussed will be the republican bill “On performance of the Federal law “On making alterations in the Federal law “On general principles of organization of legislative (representative) and executive authorities of the RF subjects” and the Federal law “On main guarantees of voting rights and the right for participation in referendum of the RF citizens” which “unfreezes” articles of the republican Constitution dealing with electivity of the Tatarstan President.

By and large, 24 republican bills are on the agenda. Committees have considered and suggest 23 draft federal laws, legislative initiatives and appeals of legislative bodies of RF subjects.

The legislative initiative of the State Council on introducing draft federal law “On making alterations in certain legislative acts of the RF” (regarding extension of powers of the Prosecutor’s office) at the State Duma of the Federal Assembly is meant to be discussed.

Information of the RT Cabinet “On ensuring availability and improving quality of state and municipal services rendered to population” will be heard within the limits of the “government hour”.

Before the session members of the Parliament honored the memory of their colleague, deputy of State Council, distinguished playwright and publicist Tufan Minnullin.

The session is held by the State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin. State Counselor Mintimer Shaimiev, Prime Minister Ildar Khalikov, members of the Government and guests take part in the event.
