On January 24, at the Kazan International Airport, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, who arrived on a working visit in Tatarstan.
During her visit, the Deputy Prime Minister will inspect the preparation of Kazan for the WorldSkills Competition, which will be held in the capital of Tatarstan in August this year.
Together with Tatarstan President, Golikova will visit the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center, which will become the main venue for the WorldSkills Competition. Then, the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia will get acquainted with the infrastructure of the WorldSkills Village (the present day Universiade Village), a residential complex, where competitors and experts will stay.
After that, in the center of Kazan on Bauman Street, the opening of the countdown clock of the WorldSkills Competition will take place.
Then, in the Kazan City Hall, Golikova, Minnikhanov and President of WorldSkills International Simon Bartley will take part in a meeting on the preparation and holding of the WorldSkills Kazan -2019.
