Tatarstan President holds a number of meetings on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos

On January 22, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos (Switzerland), Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held a number of negotiations with representatives of foreign companies.

At his meeting with Chief of international markets at Royal Philips Henk de Jong, the parties discussed issues of cooperation in medicine and the prospects for joint projects, including the establishment of a cluster of nuclear medicine in the republic.

Minnikhanov also had a meeting with senior managers of United Phosphorus Agrochemical Company, which is one of the leading global manufacturers of tools for the protection of crops, specialized and other chemicals and discussed possible cooperation in the fertilizer industry.

During the Forum, Tatarstan President attended several sessions, including  those on Future Frontiers of Technology Control (the competition for global technology leadership shaping trade, investment and defence governance), on Future Frontiers of Strategic Infrastructure (the strategic implications of today's global infrastructure projects) and Regional Diplomacy/Russia – Europe (prospects for relations between Russia and the European Union).
