Rustam Minnikhanov arrives to Davos to take part in the World Economic Forum

On January 21, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov arrived on a working visit in Switzerland as a member of the official Russian delegation led by Minister of Economic Development of Russia Maksim Oreshkin to take part in the World Economic Forum in Davos.

Later on the same day, Minnikhanov plans to take part in the opening ceremony of the forum, which will focus on globalization and interaction in the age of the fourth industrial revolution.

During the event, Tatarstan President will take part in a number of sessions at which issues of globalization, digital economy, development of alternative energy sources, and global infrastructure projects will be discussed. Some sessions will be dedicated to Russia and its role in the modern world.

Moreover, Minnikhanov is expected to have bilateral meetings with representatives of foreign companies on the sidelines of the forum.

This year, the World Economic Forum in Davos will bring together leaders of dozens of countries and representatives of big business - more than 3,000 participants from 110 countries.
