29th session of RT State Council of IV convocation will be held on May 28. Such a decision was made at a session of the Parliament Presidium.

RT State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin reminded about main events happened in socio-political and socio-economic life. Speaking about approval of new composition of the Russian government, Head of the parliament noted appointment of ex-deputy chairman of RT Government – Minister of informatization and communications Nikolay Nikiforov to the post of the federal minister of communications.

Members of the Presidium and guests honored the memory of the deputy, distinguished playwright and public figure Tufan Minnullin who had passed away.

In accordance with proposals of the committees, 54 issues are presented for consideration at the session. 6 issues are connected with changes in personnel of the republican Government, structural changes in executive authorities and composition of the committee and commission of RT State Council. 24 bills of the Republic of Tatarstan are introduced on the agenda.

Committees have considered and suggest 23 draft federal laws, legislative initiatives and appeals of legislative bodies of RF subjects. In particular, the following bills are on the agenda: “On RT budget performance for 2011”, “On budget performance of the Territorial fund of compulsory medical insurance in RT for 2011”, and the bill on making alterations in the current budget connected with allocation of extra republican incomings and federal budget funds.

In addition, information of the RT Cabinet “On ensuring availability and improving quality of state and municipal services rendered to population” will be heard within the limits of the “government hour”.
