Farid Mukhametshin: «Task of Zenit remains the same to claim high places in Russia and Europe

Today, the press-conference with participation of RT State Council Chairman, president of volleyball federation of Tatarstan Farid Mukhmaetshin and chiefs of volleyball club Zenit Kazan took place at the republican parliament. It was devoted to 12th anniversary of Zenit, the club was founded on May 13, 2000.

«Yesterday was a notable date for Zenit, F. Mukhametshin reminded. – For 12 years Zenit has won 12 trophies, brand of the club became Europe and world known We have something to be proud of!».

President of RT volleyball federation expressed gratitude to managers of Zenit and chief coach Vladimir Alekno. «We decided not to break off our chief coach from his matters and invite for this meeting. Presently, national team is preparing for Olympiad – this is the most important », – stressed Farid Mukhametshin. He expressed acknowledgement to the corps of sports journalists likewise who covered women’s and men’s championships and to loyal fans, the core of which has been formed already.
