Farid Mukhametshin lays flowers to the monument of Soviet soldiers fallen during Great Patriotic War

Deputies of the republican parliament, employees of the State Council Staff came to the Arkhangelsk cemetery to pay the tribute to the memory to soldiers fallen on battle fields during Great Patriotic War early morning. Anthems of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tatarstan were heard during the solemn ceremony.  
“It is a special day for every man whose family faced Great Patriotic War anyhow. For the  67th time our country, the whole humanity, CIS and European countries, which took part in anti-Hitler coalition celebrate the Victory, realizing that otherwise many states would have been enslaved, would have lost their lands and Motherland,” Farid Mukhametshin said.
The State Council chairman marked that much is being done in our country to support war veterans nowadays, housing problems are being solved.
“The public enthusiastically treat those who will come to the traditional Victory Parade wearing medals today. We will always respect people who protected our country,” he stressed.
