“An outstanding writer, public figure and classic of Tatar dramaturgy Tufan Abdullovich Minnullin has passed away. This news shocked everyone who knew him and his rich cultural heritage. From 1990th he was elected a deputy of the RT Supreme Soviet and was a deputy at RT State Council. He always had a proactive approach to life. His words and his opinion left no one indifferent. All his life he bore the heavy burden protecting interests of Tatar people, native language and culture, national traditions and history. I am grateful to fate that I dealt with this outstanding figure of our age. I could always rely on his useful advice. For Tatar world authority of Tufan Minnullin is indisputable, people loved and respected him. We will be missing such a master of people’s soul for many years.”
