Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in a business breakfast of the Leaders Club of the annual conference “100 steps to the favourable investment climate”

On December 11, in Moscow, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in a business breakfast of the Leaders Club of the annual conference “100 steps to a favorable investment climate”.

The representatives of Russian government, business, public and business organizations were invited to the event. All speakers were asked to speak not about success, but indicate what should be done to promote business initiatives and what kind of new formats for interaction to use.

During the business breakfast, the participants discussed the existing problems of business communities in the entities of the Russian Federation and efficiency of the work of business associations in the regions.

Tatarstan President, who was one of the speakers, noted that there are certain problems related to the development of entrepreneurship and finding new ways of interaction between business and government in each region of the country. “We all have common problems. There are no perfect conditions anywhere, but we should find new ways and solutions to achieve results,” he said.

According to Minnikhanov, first of all, it is necessary to take a number of basic steps. These are the establishment of infrastructure for business development, development of the legislative base and training and retraining of highly-efficient staff.

In modern economy, it is important to start teaching young people from school and institutes, Tatarstan President considers. He stressed that the highly-efficient staff is important potential.

As for the infrastructure necessary for the development of entrepreneurship, today, there are 83 industrial parks for industrial community and financial support tools established in Tatarstan.

He noted the largest sites such as the Kamsky industrial park “Master”, the Alabuga Special Economic Zone and the Himgrad Technopolis.

Besides, industrial sites are being established at the municipal level in the republic.

Minnikhanov also informed about the experience of using such an instrument of interaction with business as the Council for Entrepreneurship in Tatarstan. The working groups, established under the Council, find and work out the most pressing issues for business and find solutions to these problems.
