Rustam Minnikhanov meets graduates of the Entrepreneurship Factory Project

On December 10, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov met graduates of the fifth educational project “Entrepreneurship Factory”. About 300 entrepreneurs, epxerts and representatives of regional ministries and agencies took part in the event.

In 2018, entrepreneurship workshops with participation of more than 5,000 people and the START educational course for aspiring businessmen were held in Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny, Almetyevsk, Nizhnekamsk, Yelabuga and Bavly under the project.

This year, Kirov, Novgorod and Tula regions, and the Republic of Dagestan have been involved in work.

During five years of the project, more than 3,000 people have been trained, 800 new business projects have been launched. As many as 250 mentors and 220 partners have taken part in work.

Before the meeting, Tatarstan President got acquainted with the exhibition of various start-ups in the field of agriculture, jewelry, clothing production and other spheres. 

In his welcoming speech, Minnikhanov emphasized that the republic pays great attention to the development of small and medium-sized businesses. The Entrepreneurship Factory project contributes to this work, he added. “Aspiring entrepreneurs need support, they often lack experience and knowledge in various areas. It is important that the Entrepreneurship Factory is in progress, promoting business activities among young people,” he said.

During the meeting, a number of business projects were presented to Tatarstan President. In particular, Daniyar Gumarov, who is 13 years old, told him about his plans to develop his own production of cheese. The young man already sells its products, but to increase the production output, he needs additional equipment. Minnikhanov approved this project and promised the young businessman to assist in its implementation.
