Rustam Minnikhanov at his meeting with Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Marta Nováková: Business is very interested in cooperation and joint projects

On December 6, in Kazan, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov had a meeting with Minister of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic Marta Nováková, who is on a working visit in Kazan to take part in a meeting of the Russian-Czech Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Industrial and Scientific and Technical Cooperation to be held tomorrow, on the 7th of December.

Speaking at the meeting, Minnikhanov expressed his confidence that such visits and business meetings contribute to strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and the Czech Republic. According to him, they also give an opportunity to expand contacts at the interregional level.

Minnikhanov thanked the leadership of the Czech Republic for supporting many initiatives and projects focused on cooperation with such a region of Russia as Tatarstan.

Minnikhanov reminded Tatarstan is actively cooperating with the South Moravian region in a number of areas. According to him, close interregional contacts have been established.

Tatarstan President emphasized that Czech entrepreneurs, who now are in the republic, are also participants and guests of the 18th International Specialized Exhibition “Mechanical Engineering. Metalworking. Kazan” (Rubena, I.B.C.Praha, MPower are companies that are representing the Czech republic at the exhibition).

All this shows that business is very interested in cooperation and joint projects, Minnikhanov said.
