Rustam Minnikhanov takes part in the opening of the 18th Specialized Exhibition “Mechanical engineering. Metalworking. Kazan”

On December 5, at the Kazanskaya Yarmarka Exhibition Centre Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov took part in the opening of the 18th Specialized Exhibition “Mechanical engineering. Metalworking. Kazan” and the Specialized Exhibition “TechnoWelding”.

As many as 180 companies, representatives of five countries and 23 regions of Russia took part in the exhibition.

Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Russia Vítězslav Pivoňka, Director General of Thuringia Agency of the Economic Development (Germany) Andreas Krai and other officials also took part in the opening ceremony.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Minnikhanov said that it has become a good tradition to hold specialized mechanical engineering exhibitions and this one is being held for the 18th time. He thanked the guests and participants from the regions of Russia and foreign exhibitors for the participation. The exhibition is a good opportunity to demonstrate the potential of the region in the area of mechanical engineering, Minnikhanov said. It is important that we are working in the partnership, he added.

Tatarstan President looked around the expositions of companies - representatives of the domestic and foreign engineering industry.
