Aleksey Pesoshin shown the first flight of MI-38T helicopter at the Kazan Helicopter Plant

On November 23, Tatarstan Prime Minister Aleksey Pesoshin, CEO of Russian Helicopters Andrey Boginsky and managing director of the Kazan Helicopter Plant Yury Pustovgarov watched the pretesting and the flight of the first model of the Mi-38T helicopter, commissioned by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.

The Mi-38T was constructed on the basis of a certified civil helicopter Mi-38 upgraded to solve transport and landing tasks.

CEO of Russian Helicopters said that the Russian Ministry of Defense concluded the contract for the supply of two MI-38T vehicles.

This helicopter symbolizes the new stage of development of the Kazan Helicopter Plant, Pustovgarov added.

Today, a solemn handing in of the souvenir key to the Ansat helicopter to the State Transport Leasing Company took place. The Company, in turn, handed over the key to Russian Helicopter Systems, which under a leasing agreement will receive 12 Ansat multi-purpose helicopters with a medical module.
