A general meeting of members of the republican auto retro club “GAS-21 “Volga” dated to opening of new auto season took place in Kazan.

The event was held by President of the club, RT State Council Chairman Farid Mukhametshin. It is symbolic that fans of Volga - 21 held the first meeting on April 21 this year. Before the meeting, members of the club demonstrated retro autos in front of National cultural center Kazan.

“I am glad that young people are also interested in our deeds. Currently more car workshops can be found where retro autos are restored,” Farid Mukhametshin said.

According to Farid Mukhametshin, one of last year’s striking events was the V International festival of historical auto-moto vehicles held on the territory of new autodrome “Kazan-ring” dated to the club’s fifth anniversary.

“An important role of the organization is promotion of the history of domestic automobile industry development, and improvement of driving behavior,” President of the club stated.
