Rustam Minnikhanov: Our priority task is to open up the broadest opportunities to implement business ideas

On November 20, Tatarstan President Rustam Minnikhanov held the tenth extended meeting of the Council for Entrepreneurship with the participation of representatives of regional ministries and agencies as well as over 200 entrepreneurs.

In his welcoming speech, Minnikhanov noted that over three years of the work of the Council, a wide range of issues has been considered, a lot of business initiatives have been supported, and a large number of various and complicated issues have been resolved. The format of the work has proven to be an effective platform for transforming the business climate. “We have initiated changes to the federal and regional norms that regulate business activities. It is gratifying that you not only participate in discussions, but also make suggestions and give your expert opinion,” Tatarstan President said.

According to Minnikhanov, to open up the broadest opportunities to implement business ideas is a priority task of the regional authorities. Therefore constant work is being done to support the business in Tatarstan. In particular, a powerful infrastructure has been created, information and financial assistance is provided, he continued. Special attention is paid to the financial support of small and medium-sized enterprises. For example, this year more than 1 billion roubles were allocated from the budget for these purposes.

“Every entrepreneur is important to us. We will always support those who want to work, prove themselves and succeed. This is the key to successful development of Tatarstan. Every week  we receive questions on the development of entrepreneurship in our municipalities. We will continue to control this work, ” Tatarstan President concluded.
